Instructions

Marinate the shrimp:

  • In a bowl, whisk together the Lemon & Pepper seasoning, honey, cayenne powder, kosher salt, and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Transfer to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Sauté the broccoli:

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in a wide skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the broccoli and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and shallot and toss to coat. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Season lightly with salt. Transfer to a bowl.

Sauté the shrimp:

  • Return the skillet to medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, turning often, until the shrimp are almost cooked through.

Add the broccoli:

  • Return the broccoli to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the shrimp are opaque. Taste and add more salt if needed. Turn off the heat and add the minced scallions.

To serve:

  • Transfer the shrimp and broccoli to a serving platter. Serve with a pinch of minced scallions on top and lemon wedges on the side. Enjoy!
