This lemon-pepper shrimp and broccoli recipe is the easy, flavorful shrimp dinner you need in your regular rotation. It delivers the perfect balance of acidic, spicy, and sweet for a perfect dinner.
In a bowl, whisk together the Lemon & Pepper seasoning, honey, cayenne powder, kosher salt, and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Transfer to the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Sauté the broccoli:
Heat 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil in a wide skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the broccoli and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the garlic and shallot and toss to coat. Sauté for 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant. Season lightly with salt. Transfer to a bowl.
Sauté the shrimp:
Return the skillet to medium heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, turning often, until the shrimp are almost cooked through.
Add the broccoli:
Return the broccoli to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes until the shrimp are opaque. Taste and add more salt if needed. Turn off the heat and add the minced scallions.
