This hot toddy with charred orange is a take on a classic hot toddy recipe. The charred orange adds subtle sweet, smoky flavor that pairs perfectly with the rest of the drink.
Turn the broiler on. Place the orange in the small skillet and transfer to the broiler. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side until charred all over. Remove from the oven and cut in half.
Prepare the Hot Toddy:
Bring the water to a very low boil in a small saucepan. Turn off the heat and stir in the orange juice and honey and whisk until incorporated.
Stir in the bourbon.
To Serve:
Divide the hot toddies between two glasses and garnish with the charred orange and cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
