This lemon-pepper shrimp and broccoli recipe is the easy, flavorful shrimp dinner you need in your regular rotation. It delivers the perfect balance of acidic, spicy, and sweet for a perfect dinner.

Juicy shrimp, tender-crisp broccoli, and an irresistible lemon-pepper marinade make this meal a homerun.
I cannot get over how good this shrimp recipe is. I’m a big fan of all things lemon pepper, like lemon-pepper chicken tenders and lemon-pepper wings. This shrimp recipe is an even easier way to enjoy those classic spicy, sweet, lemony, peppery flavors with juicy shrimp in a meal that takes almost no effort to throw together.
You can serve this shrimp and broccoli with a side of fluffy white rice or with roasted potatoes. It would even be delicious with just a few slices of crusty bread to soak up that delicious lemon-pepper sauce.

How to make this lemon-pepper shrimp and broccoli
What you need
- Shrimp: I recommend large or jumbo shrimp for this recipe. You can leave the tails on or remove them, depending on your preference.
- Marinade: You’ll marinate the shrimp in Lemon & Pepper Seasoning, honey, cayenne powder, and a little extra virgin olive oil. You only need to marinate the shrimp for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Broccoli: You’ll need 12 ounces of broccoli fresh florets for this. You can use frozen broccoli, but I prefer cooking from fresh for the best texture. I also add minced garlic and shallots to the broccoli for extra flavor.
- Finishing touches: I add a few minced scallions to the shrimp and broccoli, but you can omit or finish with freshly minced parsley instead. I also serve the shrimp with lemon wedges.

How to make it
- Step 1: Marinate the shrimp for about 30 minutes. You can use this time to prepare the broccoli and scallions or prepare any side dishes you want to serve with the shrimp.
- Step 2: Sauté the broccoli in olive oil briefly until it’s bright green and just barely tender-crisp. Be careful not to overcook it!
- Step 3: Remove the broccoli from the skillet and transfer to a bowl. Return the heat on the skillet to medium and add the shrimp and any marinade from the bowl. Sauté for 3 to 5 minutes until the shrimp begin to turn opaque. They do not need to be cooked through!
- Step 4: Add the broccoli to the skillet and continue cooking until the broccoli is tender-crisp and the shrimp are opaque. Taste and season. Turn off the heat.
- Step 5: Finish the shrimp by adding minced scallions.

From there, you’re ready to serve it up! Simply transfer the shrimp and broccoli to a large serving platter and finish with more minced scallions on top. Serve with lemon wedges and enjoy!
